TEACH | Trainee Education in Advocacy and Community Health

Welcome to the TEACH Portal, which houses all of your learning experiences for the Trainee Education in Advocacy and Community Health curriculum at Children’s National Hospital. The overall goal of the TEACH curriculum is to increase the ability of clinicians to understand, identify, and address the effects of child poverty in a primary care setting. With 1 in 5 children in the United States living in poverty – 1 in 4 in Washington, DC – it is critical that we can recognize, mitigate, and empathize with the effects of child poverty. The curriculum integrates e-learning, clinical experiences, and community-based experiences to help you reach these goals.
